What the session involves

Join us at Tissington Nursery for our new and exciting 2025 series of talks and workshops in Tissington village hall! Led by owner Mairi, these sessions offer valuable insights and plant expertise. After the talk, visit our nursery with a unique chance to interact directly with Mairi and enjoy a 10% discount on plant purchases that day. There will be a complimentary cup of tea or coffee and biscuits during the session. Some topics covered during the talk: An overview of the village. Taking over the nursery and some of its history. What we grow and why. My love of nature. Our transition to being 100% peat free. The talk in the village hall will last approximately an hour. You can obviously have as long as you wish on the nursery. There will be an opportunity to ask questions either at the end of the talk or on the nursery. If you need lunch or light bites we suggest visiting Herbert's Tea Rooms in the village. You will need to pre-book with them.
